TravelNest is an Edinburgh founded travel-tech scale-up, servicing a global market. We help vacation rental Hosts maximise their performance in a global market. Our platform enables hosts to upload their property details once and be advertised for bookings across 30+ top travel sites including Airbnb,, and Expedia.

Our ambition is to become the place hosts around the world market and manage their property listings. Providing everything from channel listings, to operational services, to facilitating direct bookings. A “super app” for vacation rental owners.

Now is a great time to join! We have recently secured a new round of funding to take us to the next level of our growth. We have high ambitions to scale our team and the product in this next phase. Despite the challenges over the past couple of years, we have grown our customers by 500% and there’s no sign of it slowing down either.

About the Role

Our Marketing team plays a crucial role within the organisation. The team owns and manages touch points across the whole customer journey, from acquisition to onboarding to activation and customer performance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Digital Marketing expert to join us and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company. You will lead the digital marketing team and together drive initiatives and projects aiding our continued growth.

This role would suit an ambitious individual with experience of managing marketing budgets in excess of £1M p/a. The ideal candidate would have a clear vision and philosophy, who would thrive in a fast growing company and relish the challenge of putting their stamp on the business.


  • You will be responsible for digital marketing across all channels, including paid social, PPC, programmatic, display and video.
  • Lead channel marketing efforts and work with customer marketing and onboarding teams to support their acquisition, activation and performance efforts.
  • Scale acquisition efforts in the UK and in international markets according to the broader business strategy.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the wider marketing team
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and other teams (Customer Ops, Support, Design, Product, Data, People and exec)
  • Own key performance metrics including customer acquisition cost assoc with digital channels (CAC), the resulting net lifetime value (LTV) and the associated CAC:LTV ratio and payback period.
  • Work with the data teams to embed a testing and experimentation framework that delivers continual improvement
  • Work with Design teams to deliver new Creative and landing pages to support our marketing activities
  • Establish and monitor an effective attribution model for assessing cross-channel activity
  • Effectively communicate performance to the team and wider business

  • Experience of successfully managing paid marketing at a high-growth company
  • Management experience at a high-growth business
  • Experience managing high-budget performance-based ad spend across multiple channels
  • Demonstrable analytical capabilities. Comfortable with Excel, Sheets, Looker
  • Deep understanding of ad platforms (Meta, Google ads, Adroll)
  • A background in deploying, developing and delivering new and innovative channels to support and enable a broader marketing mix
  • Strong communication skills with a demonstrable ability for storytelling
  • A growth mindset and an insatiable curiosity
  • Awareness of broader marketing activity; CRM, SEO, Organic, Brand
